end of the month
end of the sketchbook
end of the sketchbook
Forgot to turn on the screen capture of me going from the sketchbook sketch to the digital sketch, from yesterday’s on the airplane strip, so here’s the sketchbook sketch:
And then the timelapse begins after i get the digital sketch overlaid.
As you can tell, I really had some trouble figuring out the color for this one. I ended up back at the watercolor look, but without the ‘ink’ lines on top…
when these drawings go by this fast it almost looks like i know what i’m doing
timelapse of drawing my share playlist strip from a couple of days ago
first time i’ve used sound effects. (nope i’ve used them here and here.)
you can really see me struggle with how the effects should appear in the frame.
the first idea was that the letters would spiral around as if spun by the drill.
i still think it is a good idea, but the execution just wasn’t there so i had to simplify.
the strip is still successful, but when i look at it, it is not as visually interesting as it could have been.
instead of a strip today, here’s a timelapse video of the snow shovel strip
