Howdy Herocaps fans! Welcome to this sneak peek behind the scenes at screentone, where Herocaps are made, not born.

Long before the last minute scramble to put it all together, I knew that I was going to need a Herocaps logo. I figured that the logo should feature the cap, but I couldn’t customize the cap in the logo to look like any one character. I needed a generic cap. A featureless cap would be pretty boring, though, so I thought to frame the cap in a halo, like you see in old religious paintings.
